A good friend of mine, Monty, who used to be a work colleague, has been working on a bag for a couple of years now and has just launched a kickstarter campaign for it.
The bag isn't just for cycling, as you can see on the description in the link, but I've always seen him cycling to work with his prototype, so it's not just something he says. If the bag is as good as the prototype was (and I'm sure it is, if not better, that's the point of a prototype surely...) it's a really nice thing, solidly made, and what I really like on his was the way it aged, especially the leather.
These campaigns often look familiar, the nice pictures, the dapper model, and if I didn't know him I'd probably take it all with a pinch of salt... One thing I can vouch for though is Monty's sincerity about quality craftsmanship (and old rotten British bicycles, but that's another subject).
And no, I'm not getting a free bag, all legit I promise! I should claim a pint though, all that talking not in my first language made me thirsty!
