Adding a small washer between the calipers and adaptor can help.
Also I would replace the pads with the Shimano M05 (or B01s which come with the pin that isn't needed on the TRP) while you fit a small washer.

The rotor that the Spyre is most often pictured with seems to have quite a wide contact area, perhaps the rotor you are using (looks like Shimano) isn't the optimum match?

30mb file limit is dreamy. Dont have to fuck around with imgur or trying to reduce the resolution. You can kind of see how the top of the pad doesnt hit the outside of the rotor, and how it overhangs the bottom. Is my adaptor the wrong way round or would some small shims fix this?
