  • I saw BR2049 last night. It looked absolutely stunning, and at times I was absolutely captivated, but there were also times when I was a bit less clear about what was actually going on, and a bit more aware that it was close to 3hrs long. I managed to get my head around most of it during the walk home. Still not sure about the subplot with the revolutionaries though. I'll leave it there because of the potential for spoilers, but I suppose that's more of a setup for another sequel than a fully developed plot on its own.

    The product placement was awful, in a way which worked really well. I don't think it reflected that well on the companies that were very obviously in it (apart from Peugeot, whose future cars look awesome).

  • I quite enjoyed the Atari & PanAm product ads/product placements. Nice nod to the original.
