Don't worry, they normally tell you. Like people who don't own a television. can't keep it to themselves.

That's because inevitably some moron in work will ask "did you see x Factor / bake off / big brother / insert other mainstream idiot TV show here / last night, oh my days it was like so funny" and to stop them ever talking to you again, you have to say you don't have a TV. Then they have nothing to say to you, because they have nothing to say themselves.
