  • Keep it simple: single source of light, fast-ish 50-85mm lens. Tripod if you're not using flash.

    I'd recommend off-camera flash if you're doing this in the evening. Play around with bounce surfaces etc but really, as long as the food looks good IRL, you should be fine.

    Of course bright morning light through a window is ideal...
