Caad12 cabling question. Dammit obviously used the frame di2, I’m using mechanical. The frame has a built in stop for the front derailleur so the cable switches to just an inner when it enters the frame.
On the other side, for the rear derailleur it’s just a hole. As is at the very rear but I’ve found the replacement cable stop for the dropout to change the inner to outer for the loop to the RD. But there’s no stop at the front of the frame to change outer to inner. Can’t find one on the spares list. Any ideas?
Should I just run full outer to the RD? Will shifting be poo like this? -

Also the brake cable entry on the downtube is much bigger than a cable. The frame came with some rubber grommets from Dammit but I can’t find them now. Where can I buy?

You can see here as the top cable enters the frame there’s a little stop it fits in. That’s what I need

Brake one looks to just go loose into the hole.
Also this
But I can find that one on spares diagrams

Or should it be a stop built in and it’s been drilled out?
-
• #8984
I do not I'm afraid, give Soho bikes a ring and ask them?
-
• #8985
Surely they would check with you if they’re were drilling your frame?
-

Anyhow, chap called Nick is gonna check with the mechanics on Monday and they’re going to try and find a grommet/insert thing that fits

You are giving my memory more credit that I suspect it deserves.

Finding it very hard not to pull the plug on this:

Just buy it. it's probably better than a custom steel bike.

Modern conveniences :) looking less of a dogs dinner is one, but the transition from Mamil Sportive machine to DoItAll graveler / adventure biek, and all that’s required to be that, is probably a bit more important.

I'd want it resprayed.
But that's a good point about the tyre clearance issue.

Anyone know of any mechanic in London "specialised" in cannondale? My supersix evo (2017) mounted in Di2 is somehow rattly somewhere at the front (near the cockpit) when cycling at high speed and can't seem to get to the bottom of it. It might well be the di2 cable but we have added an extra zip tie already. It could be the rear brake cable which has a bit of cable tension when braking and turning the front wheel sharp. That rear brake cable routing is really awkward with the hole on the side/back of the seat tube instead of on the top tube.
Or a £2500 frameset for £2300...
