  • i don't know what those words mean but i'm pretty sure they mean something edgy af.

    #finnished

  • Looks like ball hockey.

  • not sure it'll travel well to africa.

  • Stoopid online logo design website forgot the skis...

  • Watched first two episodes of new Star Trek. Utterly shit....just didn't give a flying fuck about any of them

  • you should totally not watch anymore of that show.

anyone watched Channel Zero? tv-ificated creepy pasta stories that isn't as awful as it sounds if the reviews are to be believed.

  • Only that girl Chuck D was rapping about.

  • Am only sticking with it to see if they explain how the Klingons have completely altered their appearance.

  • Designated Survivor, utter twaddle, but I can't look away.

  • I've never watched the modern star trek before but even I've seen enough pictures of the original Klingons to be confused...

  • Tin Star is worth getting into

  • Wimpy Jack Bauer and his clumsy left/right wing (depending on which blog is to be believed) exposition fantasy.
    Very odd but so watchable!

  • Watched the first three episodes of Star Trek on Wednesday. Interesting enough for me to keep watching. Got a major Bond villain vibe off the captain, keep expecting him to pick up that tribble and start stroking it like a fluffy white cat. Maybe it's the deatheater in him.

  • I think one kind of explanation that has been bandied about is that the Klingons you see in TOS were a specific subset which had been designed to look more like humans to enable infiltration and spying missions since they were at war with the federation at the time. It's rather a stretch, but shrug

  • I binge watched American Vandal while in a feverish state. It was enjoyable, but the ending sucked. But in a way, that is all the more appropriate considering what it was satirising.

  • I was annoyed by the end of season 1. Struggling to find the will to hit season 2.

But, as you say, it is compelling.

  • Louis Theroux documentary on heroin addiction on iPlayer now.

Watch it for a good time, laughs aplenty and a warm fuzzy feeling about the shape of the world.

The show focuses on the users themselves but touches a bit on the issues around the over-prescription of painkillers which has been the gateway for all the users it shows. It's an interesting approach, fascinating to see the self-delusions and the downward spirals, and the romanticisation of the situations they're in. It's also Louis approach, but I'd be really interested to see the same story from the side of the legislators who allowed it to be so unregulated for so long, and who then tightened the regulations to cut off access to the drugs in a way that seems quite unmanaged.

Seems that that's also the way that drug services in the UK are going too.

  • I thought it was a very, very interesting show. Quite thought-provoking when you consider a fair amount of people were left out to dry by their health professionals.

It also had the usual Theroux edge to it. Looking forward to more, hopefully not quite as dark as last nights.

  • Mr. Robot. I can't stop watching it but why do all the characters sound like they're totally not interested in anything.

Did they just pass round a massive blunt before every take?

  • I think one of them is about sex trafficking, so it doesn't sound like it!
