I wasn't exactly planning on doing a gravel/cx build. That is until I came across a Lauf Grit fork on a classifieds website. It's not much to look at, but the concept has fascinated me ever since it first came out. Without having a plan what to do with it, it got into the car two weeks ago and went to pick it put.
To go with the frame I got myself this Lynskey Pro Cross titanium frame that was on discount at Chainreactioncycles. I think the radical tubing design goes together nicely with the unconventional design of the Lauf.
Adding even more comfort to the bike will be an Ergon CF3 seatpost. Not sure how this will look on the bike, but I thought the concept would be worth a try.
I haven't decided on which groupset to use yet. I really like the way SRAM Force 1 looks, but not sure if 1x is versatile enough for me. Ultegra 6800 is another great contender, altough I think it looks- a bit boring. Wheels are also undecided yet.
I will take some pictures of the frame and fork this weekend.
