It's actually 'powered by Cannondale'
Not sure if any better in your view, but makes a little bit more sense :) -
• #14303
That's even more bollocks though - what powers those bikes?
-
• #14304
Motors in the BB?
-
• #14305
If they have they must be a typically inferior Cannondale version.
-
• #14306
typically proprietary Cannondale version
-
• #14307
The motors mean the Cannondale BBs creak even when the riders aren't peddaling.
Hope McLay can step up. Most of his wins have come in lesser races where he hasn't been up against top tier sprinters but plenty of top 10s at the TdF show he can mix it at the top level.

The gradients being included in races these days are ridiculous. It's OK for the Sagan's of this world but someone is going to get hurt, mark my words.

More and new Moscon related polemica
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/reichenbach-files-complaints-against-moscon-with-police-and-uci/

If true, he needs firing.
-

Dark
-
• #14312
He's just young and misunderstood everyone!
-

Reichenbach falls and then Reichenbach files.
-
• #14314
If its true then he does need the book thrown at him. Reichenbach says there are witnesses, presumably not caught on camera though.
-
• #14315
Weird. When I was a yoof I visited the Reichenbach Falls and something prompted me to read about them again and search the photos I found for the pathway Holmes and Moriaty fell from.

Hmm. How often does the victim of a crash know exactly who was at fault in causing it? Look at the Sagan incident with Cavendish at the Tour, ask 100 people and you’d get 100 different views as to who was at fault.
I’ve no idea if Moscon caused it or not, but I’m cynical of the motives of FDJ in this.

Well I did say 'if', I have no idea what went on, no doubt he's already been found guilty in trial-by-Twitter. That said he does have a habit of attracting nasty headlines.
Absolute beast of a rider though.

I always knew Talansky was a wrong ‘un - he’s taking up triathlon professionally.
-

Vaughters is a monster
Also from that Velonews article "Fabian Cancellara just completed a triathlon in Spain"
-
• #14320
These google translate ear plugs may mean we can just listen to forrin broadcasts and never listen to Carlton again
-
• #14321
Maybe by translating Carlton into Spanish, then back to English he'll finally make sense?
Have backed Alaphilippe for Lombardia. He's due a big win.
-
• #14322
I'm gonna go with Uran
-
• #14323
Yeah I'm thinking Uran. Always the bridesmaid etc with three podiums, could be his year.
-
• #14324
Pinot or Martin for me, both have focused solely on this race since the Tour, reckon we may get a two up sprint between Nibali and Pinot
-
• #14325
Holy crap de Plus!
Agree on both. The overhead shot of that win is a thing of beauty.
