Just playing Cuphead now, it's nails. Incredible animation though, haven't played a game this beautiful in ages.

Good playing and chatting last night! That last match was nearly a cracker... I think going too high up on the ridge was my caused my downfall, should have known to stay off the peak with at least 2 squads in close proximity. Not going to be on for a day or two but be good to full team it...

Oh man I want to play this game.

Is cuphead fun to play?

I remember playing super meat boy when that released and it's such an amazing game. But so so so hard I found it frustrating so now it just sits there looking nice but not being played.

If you like being killed over and over and over again then absolutely. Graphics are incredible and the music is top notch.

Is cuphead Dark Souls?

Yeah, very fun, it's rinsing me but instead of getting angry I'm laughing because there are so many amazing little details in the animation and design. It's got a very cheeky sense of humour.

There's an arcade vibe to it - you refine a level by playing over and over again, slowly ironing out the kinks until you beat it. Frustrating but ultimately satisfying. Lots of weapon and skill upgrades to be unlocked too which always keeps things interesting.

Brain absolutely savaged after a 4am finish last night, then up at 6 to start again. Heading home now and in dire need of PUBG and takeaway if any takers - assuming I can convince Mrs CYOA obvs. (To some PUBG time, she won't need any convincing for takeaway).

Argh... I said I wouldn't tonight, sorry BRO. Feel a bit pleased with myself after my last run last night, might just uninstall and walk away... (didn't even make top 10 but thats not entirely the point, I was playing for kills).

Been playing for the last hour or so and wrecking my stats. Come in around 30-50 3 times in a row now : ( got a few kills in. Though just now I was crouched in shadow going through inventory and someone ran just a few feet away from me, didn't see me. I ran behind them for a while - not far - 20 feet - then tried a few bursts with m16. wasted 2 clips of ammo and they didn't even turn around or seem bothered, just kept running around, then they disappeared behind a bush and next thing I know they were behind me and shot me. Probably cheating tbh given weird movement/nonchalance but my frazzled brain is putting it down to frazzle.

Think I might load up some Ghost Recon Wildlands instead. Less stressful.

OH GOD DAMN YOU... you are just trying to wind me up now aren't ya? In for some of the soon too, ordered a 1070 for either the Hack or eGPU (depending where it works best) so looking forward to playing Gap-yah shooter with maxed out settings...

Just picked up a Hori fighting stick from ebay so time for some old school arcade games. Street Fighter 2 and Nemesis (which is as bloody hard as I remember).

Awesome, check out the Neo Geo if you haven't already, it had some of the best fighting games of the era. Garou: Mark of the Wolves and The Last Blade are both very good.

Mate, he could Tiger you from the other side of the screen... Freaky long reach...

Those limbs are also his downfall... get in close and you can uppercut those tigers all day.

I do have a Neo Geo emulator too but mainly been playing crazy shoot-em ups on that, will have a look at those.

Been getting back into the swing of Parodius, playing with a proper joystick is definitely the way to do it but all these shoot-em ups are still stupidly hard. R-type defeated me pretty quickly.

Oh, man... Parodius is the fucking best!!

And yeah, R-Type is hard... I used to nail that game easy, was shocked how hard it was the last time I played it...
