"If you have air leaking at the valve area the problem is almost definitely that you don't have the inside of the rim sealed up well enough. Any leak in or around the tape inside the rim will cause air and sealant to travel through the rim and out the biggest gap, which is the valve area.
If you set your rims ups tubeless with tape then the tape did not adhere well to the carbon and air gets underneath it. When setting up carbon rims tubeless install a tube first and inflate to 100 psi and let set for a while to compress the tape to the carbon better. Even then you will still get some leaking, but these small leaks will seal instantly when sealant is shaken about."

When I said above it doesn't look like you've squished your tape down properly, perhaps that's the issue, not the valve.
