• Hi,
    Two questions that I have:
What is the seat post diameter meant for this frame ? I'd like to compare the answer to what I know is seized in the seat tube of the bike I recently acquired.
If I didn't have a seat post seized in the tube would I see a 'breather' hole between the seat tube and the top tube? Is that how Gios made frames or is it a solid closed tube all the way down to the BB shell?

  • Answers will help my resolve to source and pour caustic soda and more importantly take a hacksaw to to a Super Record seat post

  • Should be 27.2. Columbus SL tubing. Not sure what you mean with the other question.

  • Thanks for confirming the diameter.

I'd like to know if there is a hole between the seat tube and the top tube

  • Edit. Sorry just got what you meant, no there isn't .

  • Ok thank you for confirming.
Didn't want caustic to run in to the top tube and solidify in there.

  • Where are the pictures? :)
