Old tape off, rim cleaned with Isopropyl, new tape on, brand new valve, leaking like fuck around the valve stem. Fucking fucking fuck.

you cut the valve hole too big? re-tape ..
You only need to cut a small X in the rim tape for the valve. Could also be mismatch with your choice of valve and rim? I've only used one combo and it's still holding air after a month with no sealant.
Also is it road or MTB? How many layers of tape?
How did you tighten the valve lock ring?
