Had the same problem on my old Empires, luckily I found the heel tab when it came off. I ended up drilling 2 holes in the sole and putting self tapping screws through and into the soft heel tab before cutting the screws down and filing them flat. Not ideal but has held up for 18 months or so.
Hi,
I've got a pair of Giro Trans shoes and I've lost the heel on my left foot. Now the shoes are completely fine and I wouldn't want to have to stop using them because of that (the little bit I walk on them, they are even more slippery).
This heels are the ones screwed from the inside, before they decided it was a bad design (you think so?) and changed it to a 'replaceable' system. I've attached a photo of the shoe, not mine but what is should look like.
So, I was wondering if anyone had the same issues as me and find a solution for this or where I could find a replacement or just a crazy idea.
Cheers,
Juanma
