Those B&D benches are useless unless
I know, just failing to be helpful again.
I want a proper workbench somewhere
:-(
I have one, a big old timber bu**er I bought 25-odd years ago complete with a wood-worker's vice and I fixed a big old Record to the top of it. One of the best things I ever spend £30 on. Heirloom.
Sorry. -
I've been able to remove freewheels by:
- Securing the tool in place with a bolt/qr
- Bracing the wheel against a wall
- Putting a ring spanner over the freewheel tool
- Twatting the end of the spanner with a hammer until the freewheel loosens.
I think the sharper impacts of the hammer actually releases the freewheel quicker than the vice/busdriver method.
- Securing the tool in place with a bolt/qr
Buy one of these and fix a vice to it?
