Really wish I'd gone to the Hyde Park gig now. What a talent. I'm going to try and find that BBC4 documentary again.

Now all the stories are being updated with the info that there are conflicting reports about whether he has actually died (although he is clearly in a very bad way).

The singer is not expected to live throughout the day, but he's still clinging to life.
