Those schemes where former petty criminals are moved to a new area of the country and try to make a go of selling cloths etc to suspicious householders.
They are genuine? Worthwhile? Beneficial?

I always assume those schemes are a bit like when someone knocks on your door, says they live three houses away, and have locked themselves out without wallet and need a fiver... except you get a J cloth.
