  • I see. I very occasionally use the tops and that's only when one-handed-eating on longer rides, or climbing. Hoods the rest of the time if not in the drops for me. Maybe its a fit thing

    Maybe what is?

    Here are the two variables I refer to re. levers. They both achieve the same thing but the Ridea CNC lever is by far a more practical design as it is well away from the clamp.
    The cross top works, as it does for many others but it's not perfect

    There's no options because there's no need to have levers that close to the clamp

    If the lever was any further outboard it would be really awkward to reach when riding on the tops.
    Hope this clarifies my original question.

    I meant on the tops at all. Still not sure why you wouldn't use drop bar levers
