squirt wax - just make sure you give your chain a really good clean first.

Think there's some wet wax lube in the house. Might give it a go. It's that or Muc-Off wet or dry.

I wouldn't sweat it too much, my understanding is that there's about 2w difference between the best prepared and jut average preparation, given the power of a HC that's only a teeny percentage!
