  • From Gatwick's website

"e-Cigarettes must be taken through security and can only be stored in your carry-on baggage, they are strictly prohibited in checked (hold) baggage. This applies for both domestic and international flights.
As long as you stick to the general rules about what is and is not permitted to take through security, you should not encounter any difficulties. The only issue that you may have is when it comes to the e-liquid because you can only carry containers no larger than 100 ml through security. You will also have to place any e-liquid inside a clear plastic bag like any other liquids."

  • That's helpful thanks.
So can carry mod batteries and atomizer in hand luggage.
    Will have 2 x 30ml vape juice.
Should be ok. (though flying from Stansted)

    Will report any issues here

  • Yeah that said, when I flew out of gatwick recently, I had it in hand luggage and had no issues, on the way back had it in the hold luggage disassembled and had no problems either

  • From Ryan Air's site

"You must not include in Checked Baggage money, jewellery, precious metals, keys, cameras, computers, medicines, spectacles, sunglasses, contact lenses, watches, mobile phones, tablets, personal electronic devices, negotiable papers, securities, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, tobacco or tobacco products or other valuables, business documents, passports and other identification documents or samples."
