Your green handlebar bag is a 1958 pattern webbing back pack for british army issue. Can be had very cheaply as not WWII and the cold war isn't collectable yet.
The poncho or Bum roll can be handy too.
Downsides are weatherproofing as non waterproof so gets heavy when wet :)
Really interesting. Thanks. Its a really solid bag. Likely it'll outlive me. I've put a plank of wood at the bottom to stiffen it up and prevent sag. Wasn't aware it was not waterproof might treat it to some weatherproofing (or just tub it with candlewax). If not I'm sure I could adapt said Poncho.
When I joined up in the 70s we was issued 37/ 38 patten webbing with ww1 type painted steel cloth wrapped water bottles with a cork stopper. That 58 pat pack looks like a repaired/refurbished one as I don’t remember ever seeing one with different colour straps n side pockets like that
