I wonder how common a tubeless explosion actually is?
I suppose there's a risk, if you're going ghetto with a slack tyre/rim combination and used a compressor to get it to seal. Then theres potential for the slack to end up in one area and the bead to get over the rim.
With a bead that requires extra pressure to force it onto the rim seat, I can't imagine how enough slack appears, to allow the bead to get over the rim wall.
Very tight rim / tyre combos can be so tight that the bead snaps and BOOOOOOM you have freaked out neighbours / cats / partner / flatmates and an epic jizz explosion if you were silly enough to add the sealant before checking to see if the tyre would mount properly
