I wonder how common a tubeless explosion actually is?
I suppose there's a risk, if you're going ghetto with a slack tyre/rim combination and used a compressor to get it to seal. Then theres potential for the slack to end up in one area and the bead to get over the rim.
With a bead that requires extra pressure to force it onto the rim seat, I can't imagine how enough slack appears, to allow the bead to get over the rim wall.
Inflate with sealant in. The fluid will help lubricate the bead seating and prevent air loss (or will result in jizzy explosion)
