I'll do more pictures soon.
I had a pompino for a year and I really enjoyed it. Hence the current project, this time lighter and more road-ready. There is a common misconception about fixed though, lots of people thinks is suitable only for flat rides. I find it nicer on hilly rides. It's also less boring because your cadence is not the same during all the ride
Nice bike, more pictures please!
I've been thinking about your long-distances-on-fixed-gear project lately as I've been doing some myself on my daily commuter (up to 250km, 300 next month). 44x17, generally fine but I have been choosing my rides to avoid any crazy steep bits. It's loads of fun, and now I want a fixed gear that's better suited for long distances (mainly, bigger size, with clearance for bigger tyres, and mudguards mounts too).
