I wouldn't mind if there was any chance in buying them some time later...
Last time with the NES one I thought I'd just wait for the initial excitement to die down, then pick one up. But then they cancelled it... Why not just go on selling it forever (or at least until there's been some period of people being able to just buy one in a normal manner)?
