It seems from reading that, you need to believe in god to believe that the earth is flat?

There are just as many verses in the Bible that point to a spherical (or round) earth. Like anything in the Bible, it's about how you interpret it.

Ah, that I didn't know, just by looking at the site it was concentrating on the pillars of the earth and whatnot
