What is the best waterproof that Rapha do?

I'd like one that is an optional and lightweight shell, rather than the shadow jersey (unless that is way out ahead as the best).

Rain jacket is good, event/goretex active type fabric, pretty breathable, very waterproof.

I see three "rain jacket"s:

The hooded one looks ace, good colour too. If it came without a hood I suspect it would be a no-brainer.

Once the temp drops enough I use the hooded rain jacket pretty much every day riding to work. It’s very waterproof (been in total downpours and my shirt has been dry after) but if you’re riding hard it would get too hot pretty quickly.

As that is extremely waterproof (apparently).

So many choices... it used to be "buy the softshell, you'll get wet after a while but you have a Gore Bike waterproof shell, right?" :)

Now it's, "We have lots of jackets, good luck choosing.".
