Track league starts on the 5th of April this year and the league is sponsored by Blaze and FHHV

The spring opener is on the 31st andI will post up here and create a separate event for it!

Anyway, here is the thread for all the Track League spills and thrills in 2017.

HOOK HIRE RENEWALS FOR 2017

The time has come to renew your bike storage at HHV.

The price for this season (April 1st 2017 until March 31st 2018) will be £60. We’re aware that this is the second price rise in as many years, but we have tried to keep it to the absolute minimum. We hope you agree that £60 - or £5 a month - represents good value, especially with the recently improved facilities and security at the track (canopy, new gate, CCTV, lighting etc).

If you accept the increased cost, then please head over to: hernehillvelodrome.com/renewal to read the T+Cs, fill out the storage agreement and settle up via paypal.

It’s vital that you input you Surname, Container No. and Hook No when requested, so we can correctly assign your payment. See the chart on the website if you’re unsure of your Container + Hook No.

Please complete the renewal process by March 24th 2017. We’re close to capacity right now, so any bikes that aren’t paid up will be removed in early April.

If you’d rather not renew your hook hire, just drop us an email to let us know and then remove your bike from its hook by March 31st 2017.

If you encounter any problems during the online renewal process or there are extenuating circumstances that mean you’re unable to pay right now, drop us an email at friends@hhvt.org.

SPRING OPENER

The traditional Rollers start to track league is back!

THE ROLLER RACING:
The @rollapaluza completion is open to 12 teams of 4 people, at least one member of each team should be female. All teams should be entered on the evening and sign on opens in the @exodustravels Pavilion at 6pm.

Very simply it’s a flat out, hammer down race using 4 static bikes on rollers, its fast furious and above all fun, so come expecting heckling, beer, wild hair, awesome food and some pretty damn quick racing.

The racing starts for each team with a Team TT qualification round and the fastest 8 teams go through to the final stages of the competition, where they will race in Win outs, Devils and a magical mixed Madison.

The winning team will be decided on a points system, but no track league points will be awarded this year. The team will however have bragging rights for 2017.

The single fastest time from a register track league rider, will claim the BLAZE leaders jersey for the opening night on Wednesday the 5th.

ENTRY
Entry to the event is a kit donation to Columbian cyclists. Santi and his father were in Columbia recently and they were struck by sheer enthusiasm for cycling in the country, but also the lack of basic kit that the majority of the cyclists out there lack, so any jerseys, bibs, mitts, gloves, socks, shoes, caps and anything and everything else would be greatly appreciated.
If you don’t have any kit you can donate, it will be £3 on the door.

FOOD, DRINK, RAFFLE + AUCTION:
We’ll be auctioning some big big prizes, including a beautiful, bespoke #bigfinish @condorcycles
Lavoro as well as the usual raffle of assorted #FHHV goodies.

@canopybeerco will be pouring on 2 bars and Captain Cliff’s BBQ will be burning all night.

Its the Track League finale tonight with, special events, the prize giving, pizza from 500 degrees (which may be gratis), beer and me with a microphone.
