Hi - any recommendations for alterations on raw selvedge, just need them taken up? I've just had my mind blown by the intricacies of chainstitch etc
1. never been washed, how much should i chop of from 36" inside leg - I'm a 28" and want an inch of turn up
2. Where in London, from googling I've found
  a) Maurice Alterations Covent Garden - Dale
  b) SonofStag
  c) Rivet and Hide
anyone other recommendations?

Don't get them taken up before a wash or soak! That is asking for trouble. Then go to SOAS.

Not sure RAH if you didn't buy there. If you'd bought from either shop it would have been included, I think.
