Yeah... you are probably right. With the excitement of buying and moving into our first home I think we want it all done NOW... but clearly can't do it.
The carpet is more of an annoyance as its a real distraction to even making the place look 'nice'! but I am sure a new neutral colour scheme to the walls will improve it hugely from the different shades of blue eggshell we have currently!
