regardless of the brand of tyre a proper tubeless set up should hold air without sealant for a while maybe no days but for a while and the tyre should remain firmly locked in place such that you can ride on a flat or near tyre and it wont come unseated.
Schwalbe Pro One didn't pop into place but it has been holding good air for three weeks with no sealant. I have a bottle of your caffe stuff to put in I just haven't been riding so haven't got around to it.
