not all tubeless tyre pop into place. IRC dont but they instead lock almost silently compared to some other into the rim.
regardless of the brand of tyre a proper tubeless set up should hold air without sealant for a while maybe no days but for a while and the tyre should remain firmly locked in place such that you can ride on a flat or near tyre and it wont come unseated.
