  • Just drill the original fork, there are enough un-drilled NJS forks out there for the people who actually care about that sort of thing. It makes sense to use the fork that was designed to match the geo of the frame.

  • yeah i agree , the frame is to be ridden, i don't intend to sell soon so not bothered about 'losing the value' by drilling the fork.

  • Just beware some fork crowns don't have the extra metal thickness for brake mounting.
    Others will be a road fork that will be plugged with brass.
    For example samson fork crown are available in either road or track. Where as 3rensho I think only come in road. Some builder take a lot care to plug fill and file to look seamless.
