Actually, "belofterenner" does seem to be U23

He's a first year senior so will be riding the u23 races.
It'll be interesting to see how long he stays as an u23, as if he's as good as we think he is, he'll quickly be competitive at the full Elite level.
(Comparing lap times is never a scientific approach, but I think his lap times at the Nationals in January were faster than anyone else. Obviously course conditions play a huge role in that though, and the seniors always get the worst course conditions).
