The fact he refers to it as a town to sounds like he's still a bit lost but he liked the suburbs. No doubt the place was a bit cooler with him in it too.

Good job for him that Birmingham is no longer a "no go zone" and that they're letting non-Muslims in again.

Exactly, 50 miles might be a major inconvenience but that woman made it sound like a journey to the end of the earth. Always thought of it as such an insular place, England's 2nd biggest city that no one ever wants to visit.
