  • Tried on a classic gilet in large and it was tight. I get that it's intended to be close fit but this was ridiculous. Feels bad to have to size up to an extra-large. Anyone else had this issue with this item?

  • I went for the Brevet Gilet in large and it's a little big on me (6'5" 84kg). Might be better with base layers and Gabba underneath, but wonder if I had been better off with a Medium.

  • Brevet gilet in L for me too (6'5", 42" chest). With base layers it's snug, but not terribly so.

  • Are you lot Dutch or summit, three 6'5" blokes?
Rapha sent me three 30% codes if anyone's keen, drop me a PM.

  • Bike Radar >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • All the codes gone, spend recklessly.

  • Anyone have the brevet windblock SS jersey? Got a 30% code so I'm wondering about spending some dorrah. I mean, I have merino jerseys and a gilet already so is there any point at all...?

  • It is a good bit of kit. The merino fabric on the back is quite a bit thinner than I expected. Used for a 300km ride with all conditions back in August and it performed well.

Last year i picked one up a LS in the sale and then returned it as I hoping for more of a winter thickness jersey. In the end I regretted the return and ended up getting one again in the summer sale.

  • Yeah, I've got one and i used it a lot more than i expected to. Rode 500km in June around the Borders and it was ideal. I use shadow arm warmers with it and toying with getting a rain gilet for long rides that I know will have changeable conditions.

  • I have the long sleeve version; one of my favourite pieces for winter. I run warm mind, so still haven't put it to use since early March. Awaiting the plummet in temperature so I can though.

  • City gloves: I'm not sure I would shout about Yeovil so much

The gloves are made using Pittards leather, tanned in Yeovil, Somerset, and treated to help them cope with oils and salt from hands, while the lining has been removed to help increase dexterity.
The gloves are made from a super-supple hide, tanned in Yeovil, Somerset. Treated to lengthen the life of the leather, these gloves will over time mould to the hands and become unique to the wearer.

  • What's wrong with Yeovil?

  • The footbridge over Queensway.

(just amused that they referenced it twice).

  • Is that the bridge people like to 'exit early' from?

  • I just bought some of those gloves. Will report how nice the Pittards leather, tanned in Yeovil, Somerset, is.

  • Isn't Rees mogg from Somerset?

  • No, he's from the Victorian era.

  • He is, in fact, my MP.

I'm going to take a fortnight off work come the next election and get that fucker out of parliament for good. Not sure if that will take the form of campaigning for Labour or just killing him, we'll see when the time comes.

  • Anyone know if the new olive green colour is going to make onto either the classic rain jacket or the pro team rain gilet at somepoint in the near future?

    @Chopsicle @Señor_Bear @MechaMorgan @monkdagola?

  • Actually... just noticed the classic rain jacket has disapeared from the website altogether... New version landing soon?

  • I'll join you in that.

The Bristol Post went through a brief phase of highly manufactured 'Mogg mania' stories before even they saw they were flogging a dead horse. The lesson is 'never read the Post', I guess.

  • I know where he lives, you can leave a big turd on the bonnet of his Bentley

  • They're a bit late to the party with olive green - Albion brought out their olive green jersey last summer . Olive is over anyway, it must be because I own some. All the hipsters are wearing navy blue now.

Luckily Rapha never stopped making navy coloured things so they've gone full circle...

  • Mogg Mania was a laughable attempted at mirroring Corbyn's popularity, with the Tory 'Activate' group attempting to replicate 'Momentum'. Stalled at the first hurdle after they realised that JRM is a monster from a past age and every single young Tory is an incompetent, racist toff.

  • I wonder how much Rapha was on display at Tory Glastonbury last week?
