Thanks for the education; was this not always the case?

Move back to a city where nobody knows the difference between a posh track bike and a Halfords Apollo. ;-)
-
• #4004
I've never had a posh track bike.
/maybe for a couple of months -

A mash is a posh track bike

Not the condition mine is in

removed my bb yesterday from mash work and a fair bit of rust present after 6 months (mcr weather though)
should I (or someone much better equipped) drill the bb shell? wasn't sure if a terrible idea or not.

• #4008
Yes 😊

not sure really, I just remember a few years ago a forummenger was riding brklzz and smashed up his HED trispoke and the consensus was there was no way he could make a claim. I would imagine police will be more cognizant of such things now but who knows

Is anyone here riding CX with their Mash Work?
Tempted to order one, but it has to be handy off road.
-
• #4012
I have a lil' bit, love riding it in general, handles great and all that, but i got the small and there's a lot of toe overlap, also the fork is a bit hefty, you can feel it when your trying to log hop or what ever, i wouldn't buy it for cx only, there's better options

Has anyone ever changed the headset conical spacer on the old external headset vigorelli frames?
I just picked one up and am looking to get the front end a bit lower for TT purposes

combined with the pic of the brake bridge it looks like a reworked MASH Work with something like the bland Histo paintjob from 2016
@monkdagola
i've always ridden with a brake just for insurance reasons...if you got in an accident, even if it wasn't your fault, insurance could argue that you weren't riding a road legal vehicle and refuse to pay out. So now you're looking at losing hundreds of pounds
