The whole of the Watermans complex and centre is being flattened and re-built, I noticed the absence of anything within those plans regarding the park, and this goes some way to explaining why.
On that stretch though... I would very happily take an up and a down to be out of that tight and fast carriageway.

Bit odd the use of Watermans park for westbound cyclists...it's not that big of a park and not sure what they want to build in there, also it goes up and down at both entrances. Unless they plan to remove the wall and use the 'upper part' of the park.
In general happy to see most of it being one-way segregated cycle ways. I disliked the two ways one a lot. Very dangerous with the way we ride in London (aggressive and fast riding)
