After looking at @bankiren 's excellent steed here
I've realised I need to up my gumwall game.
I'm after Tan/Gum/Skin wall tyres in 2.4" width?
Maxxis Ardent are the obvious choice but the bike will do a mix of gravel/road/mud. Probably in that order. Are the Ardent's a bit extreme?
I don't think they make the Ikon in 29x2.4 gumwall. Closest is 29x2.35 blackwall or 2.20 gumwall. Onza's are lovely but $$$$ and not quite wide enough. Am I missing anything?
BTW I'm totally going for gumwalls for the looks.
