  • Is a sticky bottle cheating? Clearly in some cases, like yesterday and the Nibali incident two years ago, it is, but where do you draw the line?

    I think a video judge is a good idea in theory, but I think the rules need tightening and clarifying if it's to be truly effective.

    I'd also argue strongly for a public explanation of the ruling and an appeal process, otherwise you get situations like Sagan's disqualification at the Tour where it was never explained.

    the line: no sticking to bottle/car for over 3 seconds, for instance. clearly measurable. and non-communication after jury decisions is unforgivable, it needs to be enforced transparently
