Very much in a similar boat. Rather pay ~£15 for a brake than £70 for a fine. If I was solely riding on the weekend or evenings I wouldn't bother, but hitting Blackfriars at peak commute hours is prime for sneaky beik cahps.
Have put a brake on, will not use it (I have a nicely painted brake track I'd like to keep that way).

Kinda know the answer to this already.. have been riding brakeless for about 10 years.. never jump lights, undertake and ride responsibility. However with all that's happened lately I just don't feel comfortable riding brakeless on the daily London comnute on the mash.
Anyone else feeling the same?
