    I asked Brian why it was described as "for urban use" (as opposed to their race wheels):
    "It would be fine to race on but it has more flex than a racing wheel, so wouldn't sell it as a racing wheel. We have been developing a disc wheel for the urban market that is more affordable using cheaper materials. The wheel is primarily made from high strength fibreglass rather than carbon fibre. This gives a more comfortable and durable ride."

    So I think I'll hold out for the fixed version of the new Aerocoach Aeox.
