I bought it new about fifteen years ago and between being a good customer of the ship and there being a small chip in the finish at the time I got €1000 off the RRP so the way I'm looking at it is it will still have cost me less than it should have...
the problem is after fifteen years it's very well worn now but the PRS poly finish does not age gracefully, it's tough as boots but once it does start to finally wear it just looks crappy.
On top of that the only things I'd be interested in buying now are either Collings or high end Fenders so the refurb will be cheaper than either of those too! I'm kind of settled on the idea...
