Surely he looked good in training with the U23s? He definitely looked good on loan at Hull, yet wasn't considered at the start of the season.
It seems like Koeman is as petty and arrogant as De Boer, it's just he's got away with it for a bit longer.

Aye he was treated poorly, but apparently looked crap in training and we had lukaku last season so why carry a makeweight who's not going to play. There's a lot I don't like about Koemann but if he was that petty, he'd never have played him at all just to make his point. Ferguson, Mourinho, loads of good managers are bastards. Koeman's problem is that he's losing too. No one had much of a problem with him last season.

No, I think it's balanced. Thought Niasse was shit, realised he was wrong, played him and he scored a few. If he was that pig-headed and proud he wouldn't have played him at all and we'd never be having this conversation.
