If you proper want a musicman, the distributer for the uk is based in shoreham. They might have one out back in a skip or something

On a related note, is anyone flogging a Blues Junior? I loved my Hot Rod Deluxe but need something a bit smaller but still with spring verb.

Can't really speak for anyone else but I think a part of my love of reverb is the fact that I'm a super primitive guitarist, and most other effects tend to emphasise the skill of the player. Reverb tends to hide it - something that's to its credit imo. You can lose yourself in a reverb.
Also the sound of a spring reverb has been something that's tweaked my bum for many years. Memories of smashing the old reverb tank in a vintage PA to get that crashing noise. Gratifying as fuck.

70s Silverface Twins seem to go for not much money compared to everything else I see for sale, they're heavy as fuck but sound amazing...

My old housemate had a reissue tweed Bassman, he bought the last one in the shop so only paid £500 for it... He offered it to me for the same price but I was broke so had to pass, probably just as well...

Cuz I had to really crank it to get the sound I wanted, no modern (70s) master volume bidness... And because at that time I already had three other amps I wasn't playing...

"Aya Tokyo" fuzz found in a second hand shop. Absolute monster of a pedal - threw money down for it straight away.
Nails the Witch "Seer" opening tone exactly.
Also played an 80s fuzz wah they had. Disappointingly quiet when switched on.

Saw this wonderfully named guitar in a Tokyo secondhand shop.

Not guitar but... whatever. Local antique shop has one of these in for £120. The stops seem a bit hit-and miss but I think all the keys work and it sounds incredible. Want so bad. Not sur ewher i'd put it though...

That is awesome! I’ve not found anything good in any of the multitude of junk/antique shops down here yet.
Picked up an old synth I left at my friend’s mum’s house 10 years ago though - gained a lot of crackles and distortion but sounds cool as fuck through a guitar amp. -

It is pretty cool. Not sure I can justify giving it space though...
In true guitar nerd fashion i've been watching a lot of these Pedal Show videos. This is quite a dull one overall but the playing in the first minute or so is pretty impressive. Especially when he kicks the fuzz in. Damn. Must practice moar.

I want to need an attenuator

I'm told neighbours love them...

I wish I'd known about attenuators back in the days. Our guitarist had a 100w Matamp and he loved the power valve distortion over the preamp valve distortion, so he had it on 7 most of the time, and 10 when he wanted to overload. And Matamps used proper iron so they were an extremely loud 100w.
Now he can't hear anything over about 8khz. Bassist is 100% deaf in one ear. Drummer had to play so loud to keep up that he's supposed to wear hearing aids. Never does tho. I always wore earplugs. I told the other guys to do it as well but I still feel like a lucky jerk whenever I hang out with 'em.
And this is a thing.
An old ladder braced 12 string transformed into a lap slide. I'll get a weissenborn if I'm ever not poor
