I'm with you on this one. Discs are reserved for year round commuters and off road in my eyes

I don't have a disc brake electronic shifting bike yet, let's say I am waiting for the technology to mature and standards to be made. It looks like Ultegra R8070 fits the bill nicely.

I have this. I wish both bikes had discs as even on alu rims getting caught in the rain makes a massively noticable difference. Also, for the same weight, disc wheels can be more aero.

If it's got disc brakes it literally can't be raced in a crit.

Guise we have had this discussion before. Discs are ok. Bikes are heavy and long and slow and boring to ride and the tech itself needs to evolve fast.

If stopping excites you, you will love them.
