I don't have a disc brake electronic shifting bike yet, let's say I am waiting for the technology to mature and standards to be made. It looks like Ultegra R8070 fits the bill nicely.
I would actually still have a crit bike for fast "good weather" riding and a faster more endurance disc bike for changing conditions.
I mean, who owns 1 bike anyway. :)

Not a crit racer with 60mm deep wheels and a stem slammed as low as possible.
Unless you want your fancy carbonz to last more than 2 seasons.

I have this. I wish both bikes had discs as even on alu rims getting caught in the rain makes a massively noticable difference. Also, for the same weight, disc wheels can be more aero.

If it's got disc brakes it literally can't be raced in a crit.

screw you and your rules

Guise we have had this discussion before. Discs are ok. Bikes are heavy and long and slow and boring to ride and the tech itself needs to evolve fast.
If stopping excites you, you will love them.

Ah come on, that's no mamil chariot (though I will concede there is a wall on Box Hill that looks a bit like that one).

Indeed, Magnus is the real deal.
Last I heard he was living in Wales tho so it's probably not box hill

Mamils can be hipster too #freethemamil

Those wheels would never last beneath a proper mamil tho.

That is pr0n.
^^ it hurts doesn't it.
I'm with you on this one. Discs are reserved for year round commuters and off road in my eyes
