I agree with this.
It's necessary in a credible sport. It should take a bit more than 'wearing hats and having insight' or 'being an exciting rider' before someone regains their credibility.
The death penalty analogy doesn't really stand up. If absolutely incontrovertible proof emerged that someone had not doped intentionally then a life ban could be rescinded. A loss of life obviously can't.
It is. Riders are still innocent until proven guilty. If they're guilty, ta ta! don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.
