    Whatever you make fun of, some dick will be along soon enough trying to make himself look better than you by complaining about it, usually on behalf of somebody he hasn't even met, much less consulted on the matter. If you speak with love in your heart, it's safe to ignore them. If their frequently misguided and generally self serving posturing makes you feel guilty, you probably should have felt guilty without their "help", and a little more reflection before speaking wouldn't have gone amiss.

    This is true, not because being against racism is a bad thing, but because deciding that somebody is a racist based on one humorous comment on the internet is a huge leap, presuming to see a motive more malign than simple good natured fun.

    People who aren't us are funny - they look funny, they sound funny, and they have funny customs (and indeed costumes). We love them because they are also almost exactly the same as us in all other respects, including the fact that they find the way we look, speak, act and dress humorous.
