I like to go for value for money, if something is expensive but top notch and durable I see it as an investment, sometimes, who spends more spends less.
Il check specialized out I like the fact they are subtle
And yes, that's what I'm doing at the moment with my build as well; except for the frame and the pedal which I found almost 50% cheaper elsewhere I got everything via them, I like to support local businesses.
