Not vintage but my friend's 'old' bike is taking up space in my garage. not in London but could potentially drive to High Barnet tube on a Sat or Sun. fully serviced, hubs run smooth, no gnarlyness in the BB, brakes and gears all good (21 speed STI), minimal wear on rims, new front Schwalbe, rear is hardly used.
Not heavy for its type, pannier rack mounts are fairly low on the seat stays but you can fit a rack.
£70 + £6 to cover diesel, prefer if you came to N.Herts but appreciate that's not an option.

Friend is looking for a steel mixte/step-through (though doesn't have to be) vintage-y commuter (with gears) for riding around London. Something light and something that can take panniers/racks/guards.
49-50 cm (if mens bike)
50-53 (if ladies)
For someone about 5'6".
Cheap.
What have you got?
