So I've been shooting on a Canon 50mm F1.8 Lens.....borrowed from a friend. Getting to the point where it's time to buy my own....
Is the F1.4 worth the extra? Any other recommendation for fixed lens to go on a Canon?
Its mainly for cycling photography and coffee/portraits.
the 50 1.8 is an amazing lens for the price. I upgraded to the 1.4, I don't recall seeming any huge leap in image quality however the build quality of the lens is much better, feels much more rugged and durable.
Ok thanks.....if the image quality is pretty similar I might stick with the 1.8 then.....
Any other lens you've particularly loved? In the budget end of the spectrum
